About me
Karla is a LINC Instructor and Volunteer Support person at Archway Community Services. She enjoys wearing both hats at once, encouraging graduates from stage one language classes to volunteer in stage one classes as a way to increase fluency and gain Canadian workplace experience. Over the years she has grown to appreciate how volunteering in a language learning classroom helps newcomers explore or regain their passion for working in the field of education. She sees volunteering as providing essential language and practical experience in all fields and hopes new local partnerships will arise from the ashes of federal stage two cutbacks.
