BC TEAL 2026 Annual Conference

Ruba Kallab is a TESL-certified teacher trainer and EAP instructor working across Ontario’s public colleges. She holds a Cambridge DELTA and an M.A. in Applied Linguistics from York University and is currently a PhD candidate in Language and Literacies Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE), University of Toronto. Her research interests focus on trauma-informed language education, plurilingual pedagogies, and inclusive practices for refugee and newcomer learners.
